In a major development for Ghana Gas Company, Judith Adjobah Blay has been appointed as the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO), leading one of the key organizations in Ghana’s energy sector.
PROFILE OF THE NEW CEO OF GHANA NATIONAL GAS COMPANY
Judith Adjobah Blay is a seasoned professional with more than 20 years of experience in Ghana’s energy sector and beyond. She brings a wealth of expertise in strategic leadership, policy formulation, and promoting sustainable business practices.

Notable Achievements:

– Successfully managed multi-million-dollar projects
– Strengthened regulatory compliance and championed local content development
– Driven operational excellence, stakeholder engagement, and governance improvements across various roles

Previous and Current Positions:

– Deputy Director of Contracts Administration at the Petroleum Commission Ghana
– Manager of Community Relations at the Commission
– Established and managed the Procurement Department at Bui Power Authority
– Project Coordinator on MCC Compact II at the Ministry of Energy/USAID

Academic Background and Certifications:

– Chartered member of the Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (CIPS-UK)
– MA in International Transactions from George Mason University, USA
– MSc in Procurement & Supply Chain Management from KNUST
– BA in French and Linguistics from the University of Ghana
– Candidate of the LLM in Public Procurement Law & Policy at the University of Nottingham

Madam Judith Blay, a proud alumna of the esteemed Wesley Girls High School, has demonstrated her leadership in sustainability through her role as an advisory board member for the Western Regional Coastal Foundation and other initiatives.
