March 08, 2026 , Madam Judith Adjoba Blay, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Ghana National Gas Limited Company, has, on the occasion of International Women’s Day, called on all women to step forward and assume the mantle of leadership.

In a statement issued by the Office of the CEO, Madam Adjoba Blay said, “On this International Women’s Day, we do not only celebrate how far we have come; we issue a call: come in into the boardrooms, into the energy sector, into spaces that were never designed for us but that we are redesigning every single day.”

The statement continued: “To every woman who has ever stood at a door wondering if she belongs on the other side walk through it.”

“I did, and today, as CEO of the Ghana National Gas Limited Company, I stand not just for myself but for every girl who dares to dream beyond what the world has mapped out for her.”

The statement added that “the future of Ghana, of Africa, and of our world will be powered not just by gas, but by the unstoppable force of women who refuse to be kept out.”

The CEO urged women “to come in and take your seat. The table needs you.”
