July 9, 2025 – The Jomoro Constituency Executive Committee (CEC), on behalf of all NDC members in the constituency, has expressed its heartfelt congratulations to the Member of Parliament for the area, Hon. Dorcas Affo-Toffey, on her appointment as Deputy Minister-Designate for Transport.
According to the Constituency Executives, Hon. Dorcas Affo-Toffey’s appointment does not come as a surprise, given her dedication, hard work, and relentless efforts in making the NDC more attractive and vibrant in Jomoro.
The Executives also extended their profound gratitude to the President of the Republic of Ghana, H.E. John Dramani Mahama, for the honor bestowed upon the constituency and by extension, the Western Region through the appointment of one of its industrious daughters to this high office.
This was contained in a press release issued by the Constituency Executive Committee, signed by the Jomoro Constituency Communications Officer, Mr. Nyamekeh Lenry, and copied to the media.
The statement follows an official communication from the Flagstaff House, signed by the Minister for Government Communications, Mr. Felix Ofosu Kwakye, announcing the final batch of deputy ministerial appointments.
“We, the people of Jomoro, believe in and trust the capabilities of Hon. Dorcas Affo-Toffey in the role she is about to assume. We are confident she will contribute meaningfully to the transformation of Ghana’s transport sector, helping to build the Ghana we all desire,” the release stated.
The Constituency Executives once again extended their warmest congratulations to Hon. Dorcas Affo-Toffey and wished her every success in her new role.
Hon. Dorcas Afo-Toffey is currently serving her second term in Parliament, having first won the Jomoro seat in December 2020 and retained it in the 2024 elections.
