On August 27, 2025, the maintenance team at Ghana National Gas Limited successfully completed their planned maintenance ahead of schedule. After finishing the project, they handed over the plants to the operational unit. The key maintenance tasks included servicing the Heat Medium System, calibrating safety systems, and overhauling the Transmission Compressor. This information was shared in a press release signed by Mr. Richard Ernest Kirk-Mensah, the Head of Corporate Affairs, and distributed to the media. The Ministry of Energy and Green Transition had initially estimated a 14-day timeline for the work. However, the maintenance and technical teams reached a significant milestone by completing the tasks early. Chief Executive Officer Ms. Judith Adjobah Blay commended the team’s dedication and collaboration, highlighting that their hard work was crucial to the project’s efficient completion. The plant is now expected to stabilize and receive the anticipated volumes of gas in the remaining hours of the day.
