As Muslims across Ghana observe the holy month of Ramadan, President John Dramani Mahama has called on the people of Bawku to seize the moment as an opportunity to foster peace and unity.
Speaking during the Ramadan celebrations, the President emphasized that the sacred season is a time for reflection, reconciliation, and spiritual renewal. He urged residents of Bawku to let go of longstanding conflicts and work together for the betterment of their community.
President Mahama highlighted that sustainable development is only possible in an environment of peace. He reiterated his government’s commitment to maintaining security and promoting dialogue in the area.
He also praised the Muslim community for their contributions to national development and encouraged them to continue praying for peace and progress in Ghana.
