Nine-Member Board of Directors Appointed to Steer Affairs of Ghana National Gas Company

His Excellency, President John Dramani Mahama, has appointed a nine-member Board of Directors to steer the affairs of the Ghana National Gas Company (GNGC) Limited.
The Board is chaired by Mr. Kofi Totobi Quakyi.
Other members include Ms. Judith Adjobah Blay, Acting Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Ghana Gas; Mr. Emmanuel Vincent; Ms. Nasira Afrah Gyekye (MP); and Ms. Charlotte Osei.
The rest are Mr. Samuel Kwame Borlu; Awulae Agyevi Kwame II, Paramount Chief of the Nsein Traditional Area; Mr. Baba Abdul Jamah Adama; and Mr. Blay Nyameke Armah (MP).
This was contained in a statement issued and signed by the Head of Corporate Communications at Ghana National Gas Company, Mr. Richard Ernest Kirk-Mensah, and copied to Nzema Today TV in Aiyinasi, in the Ellembelle District of the Western Region.
The statement noted that the appointment of these esteemed individuals demonstrates the President’s confidence in their ability to steer the affairs of the Company.
It added that the new members bring a wealth of experience and expertise to the Board and expressed confidence that “they will play a crucial role in shaping the future of the Company.”
Management of Ghana Gas stated that it looks forward to working with the new Board to enhance the Company’s operations, address operational challenges, ensure quality assurance, and promote peaceful co-existence between Ghana Gas and its host communities.
