The Acting Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Ghana National Gas Company (GNGC), Madam Judith Adjobah Blay, has embarked on a three-day familiarization tour of the Western Region. She was accompanied by the Deputy Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana National Gas Company, Ing. Dr. Robert Kofi Lartey, and other management staff of the company.
The tour marks her first visit since she was appointed by His Excellency President John Dramani Mahama as the Acting CEO of the Ghana National Gas Company.
Her first point of call was at the Western Regional House of Chiefs and the Western Regional Minister. The President of the Western Regional House of Chiefs and Omanhene of the Essikado Traditional Area, Nana Kobina Nketiah, praised President John Dramani Mahama for appointing a native daughter of the Western Region to lead Ghana Gas, acknowledging her expertise in the oil and gas industry.
On her part, Madam Judith Adjobah Blay assured the House of Chiefs of her strong commitment to fostering collaboration and promised to meet with the House twice every year to discuss the company’s development and regional growth.
At the Western Regional Coordinating Council (WRCC), Madam Judith Adjobah Blay assured the Minister of continued support for regional development.

For his part, the Western Regional Minister, Hon. Joseph Nelson, expressed high hopes that her appointment will foster strong collaboration between the company and the region, driving transformational development.
With over twenty years of experience in Ghana’s energy sector, Madam Judith Adjobah Blay brings valuable expertise in strategic leadership, policy development, and sustainable business practices.
Her appointment marks a significant milestone for Ghana Gas as the company expands its infrastructure to meet the country’s growing energy demands.
