The President’s nominee for District Chief Executive (DCE) for Ellembelle, Mr. Joseph Agyekum, has expressed profound gratitude to His Excellency President John Dramani Mahama for the trust and confidence reposed in him as the nominee to serve the people of Ellembelle.

He also extended his sincere appreciation to the leadership of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) from the national, regional, constituency, to branch executives for their unwavering guidance and encouragement throughout the journey.

“My sincere thanks go to all stakeholders, including our traditional leaders, party members, assembly members, political actors, and the vibrant youth of Ellembelle,” he stated.
This was contained in a statement issued and signed by Mr. Joseph Agyekum, who is also the Ellembelle Constituency Secretary of the NDC and the DCE nominee. The statement was copied to Nzema Today TV at Nkroful.

Mr. Agyekum emphasized that as he embarks on this new phase of his political journey, he remains mindful of the expectations of both the people of Ellembelle and H.E. President John Mahama.

“I do not take the confidence reposed in me for granted,” he noted.
“Together, we can foster an environment of peace, unity, and development that will benefit every citizen in our district.”
The statement outlined his vision as DCE, stating his intention to “collaborate with everyone to address the challenges facing the district and harness the opportunities that await us.”

“By working hand in hand, we can build a prosperous future for Ellembelle, ensuring that every voice is heard and every need is met,” it continued.
Expressing his sentiments about the new office, Mr. Agyekum said:

“I am excited but cautious about the journey ahead, and I am committed to serving with diligence, dedication, and integrity.”
He concluded with a strong declaration of commitment:

“We cannot fail the people of Ellembelle. So help me God.”
