In a small village in Ghana, Nkroful, lives a curious boy. His name is Kwame.

Why does gold shine?
Kwame watches his father, Kofi, making rings and necklaces from gold. The gold shines so beautifully!
“Papa, why does gold shine?” Kwame asks.
Papa laughs. “Because gold is special, just like you.”

Why is the sky blue?
Kwame looks up. The sky is so big and blue!
“Mama, why is the sky blue?”
Mama laughs. “What a beautiful question, Kwame. The sky holds a secret. Do you want to discover it later?”
Kwame nods. He wants to know everything!

Why is the sun warm?
One day, Kwame sees an old man sitting in the shade.
“Sir, why is the sun so warm?”
The man smiles. “The sun gives us light and warmth. Without it, it would be dark and cold.”
Kwame smiles. He loves the warm sun.

Why do flowers grow?
Near a house, Kwame sees an old woman watering her flowers.
“Ma’am, why do flowers grow?”
The woman smiles. “Because they get love and care. Just like you, Kwame.”
Kwame feels happy.

Always learning
Kwame keeps asking questions. Sometimes his friends laugh.
“You ask so much, Kwame!” they say.
But Kwame laughs back. He loves learning!

The answers
One day he looks up. The sun is shining and the stars are twinkling.
“One day I’ll know all the answers!” he says.
And as Kwame grows, he keeps asking questions just like his papa’s gold keeps shining.
