At Asasetre, a predominantly farming community, Safohene Kpanyinli Baako told Nzema Today Media that though a chunk of cocoa was produced from Asasetre and neighbouring villages such as Adubrim,Nyamebekyere,Ngabawie among others, yet the road network was in bad shape making it unbearable for farmers to cart their produce to the market centers.
The situation reaches an alarming rate when their farm produce get perished and decomposed thereby worsening their livelihoods.
He lamented that most of the stores along the road were dirty as a result of dust pollution.
Safohene Kpanyinli Baako appealed to government to immediately award the Teleku-Bokazo to Aiyinasi trunk road on contract for work to begin to alleviate the economic plight of people in the area.
